The Coating Process

All furniture is powder coated, and this can be done in a wide array of colors and shades. That’s not all the powder coat is for, though! In fact, even before the powder coating, we first sandblast and prime the metal. After this three-step process, the metal has a durable protection against extreme weather conditions. Weatherproof, waterproof, and rust-resistant–the way every park bench should be!

Metropolitan Bench

The Metropolitan Bench was designed as an urban style option with slants and angles to enhance any landscape. The look is smooth and sleek, raising any setting to a more chic, city vibe.
Either on a sidewalk downtown or a college campus, the Metropolitan Bench can belong anywhere with its many customizing options. Add a complimentary logo or inscription for your business, home, or city to give the bench a more personalized finish.

For the Metropolitan Bench, we weld fully to protect the bench from succumbing to rust and corrosion. We also use welds minimally, in order to have the smallest number of potential “weak spots”.

Each bench is specially powder-coated to a lustrous, durable finish. The powder coat finish provides a barrier between the outdoor elements and bare metal. The powder coating is available in a large selection of colors to compliment any location.

Weatherproof Design

The Metropolitan Bench is powder-coated to protect the bench from rain, snow, hail, harsh sun rays, or any other weather pattern that could potentially harm the longevity of the bench. Whether it’s sitting in the hot sun or braving the heaviest storms, our benches will come out looking in as pristine of condition as ever.
